He is the founder and president of Immanuel Chapel Ministries located in Harare, Zimbabwe. ICM has been key in establishing churches throughout Zimbabwe, as well as other countries in Africa. Bishop Bawa is a spiritual father to numerous pastors, bishops, apostles, prophets and various ministry workers both in Zimbabwe and internationally.
Outreaches of ICM include schools to educate the children in the bush academically and spiritually. The first ICM Academy is at Partson Farms, in partnership with Praying the Word Ministries/ Cheryl Eaton of Augusta, GA.
He is well established as one of Zimbabwe's credible spiritual leaders. Bishop Bawa is the president of recently established legal entity, TMCI Zimbabwe, which is affiliated with (TMCI) The Missionary Church International located in Columbia, SC.
Other areas of service and ministry: Previously served in Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe (PAOZ) as General Superintendent, a leader of Greater Harare's Ministers' Fraternal as Chairman. He is also the founder and president of the Immanuel Chapel School of Ministry, and of Marriage and Family International (MFI).
